It's about that time and I'm SAD to say that IM NOT THERE :o( I LOVE LOVE LOVE Mardi Gras and I've been going almost EVERY year since I turned 1 years old. There's nothing like family, food(cajun), friends, and FUN! *wink*Mardi Gras is so exciting and colorful, it just makes you think of letting go to enjoy the festivities--The name Mardi Gras means "FAT TUESDAY". y Lent/40 day fast starts)--On Fat Tuesday you would eat all that you could/indulge in any activities so that when 'ASH WEDNESDAY', the starting day of the fast--you would be free of all those things(plus whatever else your giving up) for 40 days . It's an interesting History behind Mardi Gras--you should Def look it up.
I hope that everyone remains SAFE out there and that they get REALLY drunk...LOL [kidding]
